ABOUT

I began working as a Session Manicurist in 2013. My understanding and love of fashion stem from being a fashion assistant in the nineties. In 2003, I moved into beauty, working as a consultant for Lancôme. I was with the brand for 11 years, during which I trained in manicure before deciding to pursue my passion for nails.

My professional nail career began at influential London salons, WAH Nails, and Imarni Nails. It was through salon work that I mastered my skills, specifically in freehand nail art. But it was on close-up beauty and jewellery shoots that I really developed my attention to detail.

My online nail art course, Fashion Nail Art Workshop teaches how to master freehand nail art, inspired by fashion.

My credits include Elle, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, LOVE, Vogue and W Magazine. As well as campaigns for AllSaints, Apple MAC, Graff Diamonds, Valentino, and Vivienne Westwood.

At London Fashion Week, I've keyed the nails for Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, David Koma, Emilia Wickstead, Markus Lupfer, Margaret Howell, Marques' Almeida, Peter Pilotto, PPQ, Rejina Pyo, Sharon Wauchob, and Temperley London.

In February 2020 I launched a podcast for all creatives. The Manicure Table - Creative Conversations with Cherrie Snow is a series of interviews, where I manicure and chat with creatives, discovering their backgrounds, their career journeys, and their success stories.

I’ve always believed that a professional manicure should improve the condition of the natural nail, not just the appearance. That’s why I practice gentle nail care and use mild, high-quality products that encourage healthy, natural nails.

My shopping page, Cherrie Picks, is a curation of my most used and recommended professional products. All of which are ethical, non-toxic, and vegan friendly.
